Important Notice

Cancellation terms may vary based on airline, hotel, and tour operator policies. This policy applies to Aviate Travels service fees unless otherwise specified.

General Cancellation Terms

60+ days before departure

10% of total cost

Minimum administrative fee applies

30-59 days before departure

25% of total cost

Standard cancellation fee

15-29 days before departure

50% of total cost

Late cancellation penalty

0-14 days before departure

100% of total cost

No refund available

Flight Cancellations

  • Airline tickets follow individual carrier cancellation policies
  • Refundable tickets: Subject to airline fees plus our service charge
  • Non-refundable tickets: May qualify for airline credit minus penalties
  • International flights may have different cancellation rules
  • Travel insurance can protect against non-refundable losses

Hotel Cancellations

  • Free cancellation periods vary by property (typically 24-48 hours)
  • Peak season bookings may have stricter cancellation policies
  • Prepaid rates are generally non-refundable
  • Group bookings (10+ rooms) have separate cancellation terms

Tour Package Cancellations

Package Tours

Customized tour packages have unique cancellation terms based on included services. Some components may be non-refundable regardless of cancellation timing.

Refund Process

Processing Timeline

  • • Refund requests processed within 5-7 business days
  • • Bank transfers: 3-5 business days after processing
  • • Credit card refunds: 7-14 business days depending on bank
  • • International refunds may take additional time

Special Circumstances

Medical Emergencies

Medical documentation may qualify for waived cancellation fees. Travel insurance strongly recommended for coverage.

Force Majeure

Natural disasters, political unrest, or pandemic restrictions handled case-by-case per supplier policies.

How to Cancel

  2. Provide booking reference and reason for cancellation
  3. Submit any required documentation (medical certificates, etc.)
  4. Receive written confirmation of cancellation and refund amount
  5. Refund processed according to our timeline above
